In honor of International Women’s History Month, the GBTA New York City Chapter is hosting a donation drive to support Bottomless Closet, a nonprofit that helps disadvantaged women in New York City enter the workforce and build successful careers. For over 20 years, Bottomless Closet has provided women with the tools and confidence they need to succeed in interviews, start new jobs, and achieve self-sufficiency.
We will be hosting a Purse and Accessories Drive!
Most needed items:
· Women’s professional tote-size purses
· Sensible/flat shoes
· Jewelry
· Scarves
Professional clothing of all sizes is also welcome.
Please note:
All items must be interview- or career-appropriate, clean, and in good condition.
No casual items and no men’s clothing.
Donations will be collected at our NYC GBTA March Event on March 24, 2026, at Project Farmhouse Event Space.
Can’t donate items? Monetary donations are also appreciated and are 100% tax deductible. No gift is too small. You can donate here: Donate Here:
